Notifications
Stay informed, stress less
In-app alerts and email summaries tell you when your pay lands, your splits run, or something needs a look. Push notifications are on the roadmap.
Sound familiar?
Checking the bank app on repeat
You keep refreshing to see whether your pay has landed yet. It is a small anxiety that adds up over a month.
Not sure the split ran
You set up a transfer to savings, but without a confirmation you are left wondering whether it actually happened.
Problems you find out about too late
If a transfer fails, you want to know now, not when you next happen to open your accounts.
Too many pointless alerts
Most apps either say nothing useful or buzz constantly. You want the few alerts that actually matter.
Alerts on your terms
You decide what you hear about and when. Nothing noisy, nothing you did not ask for.
Choose what you hear about
Turn each alert type on or off individually. Keep the ones that matter, mute the rest, all from settings.
Pick in-app, email, or both
See alerts the moment you open PayDay, and get daily or weekly email summaries of your activity.
Set quiet hours
Silence notifications overnight or whenever suits, so an early-morning pay deposit never wakes you up.
The alerts that actually help
Every notification is there to save you a check-in or catch a problem early.
Pay detected
An alert the moment PayDay spots your salary land, so you know your money has arrived before you even check.
Split complete
Confirmation once your rules have run, with a clear breakdown of exactly how your pay was divided.
Weekly summary
A digest of your splits, totals moved, and account balances, so you stay across your finances in a glance.
Issue alerts
If a transfer cannot complete, you hear about it straight away, with a clear next step to put it right.
Savings milestones
A nudge when a savings balance passes a figure that matters to you, to keep the habit rewarding.
Low balance warnings
Set a threshold on any account and get a heads-up when the balance drops below your comfort level.
Common questions
How does PayDay send notifications?
Through in-app alerts you see when you open PayDay, and email summaries you can set to daily or weekly. Mobile push notifications are on the roadmap and will arrive in a later release.
Can I choose which alerts I get?
Yes. Every notification type can be switched on or off individually, so you only receive the ones that are useful to you.
Can I stop notifications at night?
Set quiet hours and PayDay holds alerts during that window. It is handy when your pay lands overnight and you would rather not be disturbed.
Will I be told if a split fails?
Yes. Issue alerts tell you as soon as a transfer cannot complete, along with a clear next step so you can resolve it quickly.
